Hello!

In October, I am embarking on an 11 month missions trip to 11 different countries!

World Race 11in11, is a mission’s program by an organization called Adventures in Missions. Twenty-one to 35-year- olds leave their family, friends, and comforts behind to live out of a backpack and serve others around the world. We live a humble lifestyle while focusing on what matters the most.

I have a growing passion for the varying ministries we will be pursuing like unreached people groups, student ministry and special needs ministry. I’ll soon find out about more of the ministry groups we will serve alongside, and I am filled with anticipation for what God wants to do through me and my squad.

Beyond reaching others, I am focused on my own personal discipleship. I am one of the youngest in my squad and many of my squad members are boldly preaching Christ on a constant basis. At first, I was intimidated, but this is exactly what I desire! To be in a close community that challenges me to speak before crowds.

My plans were to enter film school this August, but I realized I was trying to learn film and weave God’s mission into my career instead of seeking God’s kingdom first and watching Him work my career into His plan.

For the last two years, I’ve been soaking up discipleship and now I have this wonderful opportunity to be intensively fixated on my relationship and trust in Adonai. I don’t believe that God sends the equipped, He equips the sent. I believe this trip will equip me and shape me for the rest of my life, wherever I am located.

Here’s the best part! I was wary of asking for financial support and didn’t quite understand why the World Race puts such emphasis on raising your own funds until I looked at Jesus and saw that he relied on others for support (Luke 8:1-3). I’ve been slowly realizing the joy in connecting with others about my ministry and seeing an invite of support (in prayer and/or financially) as an invitation to partner with me in bringing the Kingdom.

I am asking for two things: The first is prayer. This is extremely important because, I want to point people to God. Secondly, I am asking you to ask God if He is calling you to give financially either in a monthly commitment donation or a one-time donation. I truly believe God will provide these funds through other people.

Blessings to you!
